| The downdraft bedding disposal system disposes of soiled
bedding material into a sanitary sewer system by mixing with water
and reducing and
pulverizing the soiled bedding material into a slurry. Bedding is
dumped manually into the hopper for processing, and downdraft ventilation
protects personnel by capturing and controlling odors and aerosols.
Wood shavings, corn cob, paper and cellulose material are reduced
to small particles and flushed though a filter screen into the sewer
screen. |
